As the follow up to my last post...I'm new. Hot Hot Heatis just about myfavourite band. I love their original sound. It's been a while since a band has had the ability to make everyone in the room want to put their dancing shoes on!
I love the way Steve smiles when he sings, you can hear just about hear the boy smile. It's brilliant. His voice is just...amazing...the lyrics are...wow.
I'm sure everyone reading this is making up for the words I lack. It's a love 'em or hate 'em band. There aren't enough words to explain what their music does to me. You understand, right?

Welcome!! Hot hot heat is definetly my favorite band aswell, they are so amazing and talented and their music is just...ahhh!! What are your favorite songs? Have you ever seen them live?
I just discovered them pretty recently and have been absolutely hooked ever since. I got to see them live in vancouver a couple months ago and met the band and talked to steve. HE IS SO AMAZING. anyways im going on because im going to see them tomorow in Auburn nice and early.

I love that lyric, and it sorta shows how much I love HHH (music wise). They make me tingle.

Rather than starting my own thread, I'll introduce myself here too. I bought Breakdown a few years ago, shortly after it came out, and liked it but never really felt fanatical about it. To be honest, I didn't listen to it enough. Then I found out they were coming to my city, so after buying my tickets, I decided it was time to look into their music more. I found out that their new album was coming out just before their show, so I bought it as soon as it came out, listened to it and fell madly in love with it. Then the show happened and I fell madly in love with their older music (as well as Steve and his sexy hair).

And last week I spent $19 Canadian on Knock Knock Knock because I knew it was worth it. That's my story. As for me, I'm 18, live in Calgary and the name is Angi. That's it. Really, I'm done.

that's a damn good video. Now I'll be watching for the smile during their next performance that I'm going to (In July).

I think thats one of the things that makes him so damn attractive. The way his mouth looks when he sings, I cant describe it but....amazing.
Ahh just got pictures back from endfest...steve is looking right at my camera like 4 feeet away in a few of them! CANT BELIEVE IT!

I just love the presence of the band in general. I have a thing for all musicians/artists.

they do have amazing stage presence, and in interviews and everything. They always leave you hanging somehow....i dont know how they do it. mmmmmmmmm

Yeah, I'm definitely a sucker for musicians in general, but I have a specific thing for singers, like Steve, for example.

I totally understand what you're talking about with the whole his mouth when he sings thing.
But yeah, thanks for the warm welcome everyone....this is an awesome fan place. Usually when I first sign up people are such bastards and complain about how I probably just like the band because everyone else does.

I love guys whith squeaky-man voies. I'm sure that really sounds appealing, but what I really mean is guys who can actually sing in a relatively soprano-tenor range are the awesome.

That was the first thing i noticed about steve, his mouth and teeth when he sings! It's just something about it... mmm mmm mmm. Im going to scan the pictures or try to get them on a disk and then i can email them to whoever wants them. They really are suprisingly good. The one where he is crouching at the edge of the stage tottally looking into my camera makes me melt everytime i see it. I have a few really good ones of Luke aswell because he was really near me for the whole concert. Too bad Paul was so far back and Dustin was so far to the other side, I would have loved to get some close up's of them aswell...or a whole band picture. I guess its my goal for the next time I see them live. (sooon hopefully!)

I had a pair of sandals that read on one "hot hot heat" and the other " goodnight goodnight" and then around the one with goodnightgoodnight it said "youre embarassing me youre embarassing you" they were sweet!!!
