elevator has debuted at #34 on the album chart. Not bad at all, hopefully it will not fall off. if they release a good next single, then it should hang around for a while.

unfortunatly, this week it fell to #85 and rolling stone has said that elevator has "officially bombed" since it was so heavily promoted but the sales are so low so far. we'll see I guess. its only the second week its been out.

that is terrible. now they will probably release as a few quick singles, so that warner can make some money.

give it time - they still have Europe and the US to do - Canada does not promote them at all!

I looked them up like last week or so and saw that they debuted at 34. I don't think that's that bad... I personally didn't see any promoting haha.

I'm sure the tour will really increase the sales.

Over here in england the system works a little differently as well which means sometimes the singles go higher than the album does. Also NME magazine love the band and are always promoting them in their magazine. Fingers crossed it'll all go well, it seems they are becoming much more mainstream than they once were over here.

it appears as though its fallen off the charts this week, which is pretty disappointing. maybe if middle of nowhere takes off things will change. at this rate though, elevator isn't even going to do as well as mutb.
