Anybody know the last time Hot Hot Heat was in Alberta, Canada? I hope it wasn't too long ago! I want them to come here so I can go to a show (Edmonton would be preferable, but Calgary is cool too! -- ROAD TRIP!!!).

Since we're talking about Calgary...kind of. Have they played the Ironwood?

It would be awesome if they did, and amusingly ironic...any Ironwood regulars or drop ins would know why.

Oh, and I'm in Edmonton as well, completely missed them on the count of hiding from the world.

You can't be serious.

I say the right words, but act the wrong way. I like it round here, but I cannot stay.

Global Warming you know. We were able to unfreeze the microchips early this year. We've upgraded to Caribou instead of whale blubber though, the whales were being eaten by the coast-people and of course we already killed off all the buffalo.

It depends where you go Smile I would recommend the 3 big cities for a start (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver). Or Saskatchewan if you like really really "I can see my dog run away for three days" flat land.

I'm planning on moving to Vncouver sometime in the next couple of years. I figure it's probably real touristy in some spots, so I'd have guaranteed work. I went a few years ago and saw some beautiful architecture. How's the night life.

Also, these boys are from Canada, aren't they? It makes a little sense to have fans in your home country, at least to me.

Funny thing. I'm stuck in Alberta but those 3 cities have remained unvisited. The main reason for Vancouver is the little dinky cd stores are awesome and then you can go to the isalnd where all the artists sell their paintings.

Toronto I'd recommend for the touristy stuff. And there's an awesome place called Niagra on the Lake. It's a little city with a lot of ig houses but it's fun to look at.

The Montreal, because I really want to go there for the music. I love a bunch of bands over there that have yet to make it out of the city. That and liberal Montreal is the opposite of conservative Alberta. cough.

Yeah, they were in Edmonton on April 13th and Calgary on April 14th.

But, they will be playing the Calgary Stampede on Sunday, July 10th. Go here if you want more information. =)
