I'm very familiar with LeLeLow and I really appreciate all you've done for other fans, I visit your site very frequently. I was hoping for the album version off the 7", only because the sound quality in the few live Scenes songs that have made it to 2008 is pretty bad. I think Matty's actually got a pretty good voice but his shouting in the two unknown live songs make them basically just noise.

I don't know if the album the song came off of is even available anymore. I don't have a record player so it wouldn't matter anyway =\.

I guess this is just my OCD, since it's only one track. I'm just fascinated by their old stuff because a) Matty Marnik fell off the face of the Earth and they never even acknowledge their old work and b) Scenes is a pretty unique sound. Most Hot Hot Heat fans never listen to the old stuff, which is fine, because I know I like the Sub Pop and beyond stuff too. But there's something really awesome and fascinating about their whole no-wave period so getting that one last track would make my day.

yeah...a lot of that old stuff has been lost with time since they were basically nobodies back then. I know I used to have a couple unreleased tracks like one dubbed "sugarcoat it" (although nobody knows the real title) and such, but my old computer crashed and they are all gone

but try checking eBay if possible. I don't think RPE is on anything like that, but you never know.
