It really bothers me a lot that MTV2 keeps playing Hot Hot Heat and that they keep advertising for MUTBD. One thing that I absolutely loved about seeing them live was that it was at a small club and there wasn't a massive amount of people there. So you could connect with the band more.
Ugh, I hate MTV so much. They started playing Taking Back Sunday and now look, TBS are 'taking a break' I blame MTV for that.
I don't know if I'd be able to handle going to a HHH show and there being all kinds of annoying little girls there who are only there to drool over Steve.
*Sigh*

I think little girls watch more normal MTV, than MTV2...I don't know how that is around where you live. But I know what you're saying, when a band becomes big, it always changes things. Unfortunately, there's no going back with HHH. They are so good, and good bands tend to become big eventually. Unless, of course they wish to stay "small"..but as it seems, HHH doesn't.

Yeah, when my dad first heard HHH he said 'Wow, they are gonna make it big.' And I slapped him and told him to shut up.
I'm sure they want to play big arena's for thousands of screaming fans, who wouldn't? But still, I like them as they are now.

It sounds like they dont wanna blow up too fast (or even big) from this article. It's "new" from 91x.com (a San Diego radio station), someone else posted it at the DST, but I dont know if it's been put up here yet, so here ya go:

I'm kinda confused about how recent it is, cuz it says they are still traveling in a van, but if I remember correctly from the "Bang" article (I think it was that one), when in Europe they had a big gold bus.....so I dont know....

They have a van here and travel the US/Canada in it when they can.

I love Steve's style of humor (as comes across in the article)!

thanks for the credit voodoodolly. i can't believe i didn't see this before. i just found this board, so i am excited now. well about the whole mtv thing, i don't support mtv at all. for the reason of the way they publicize the bands. and most of the bands played on mtv get burned. i think if we all just publicize this band in a positive way and not through mtv they will indefinately be successful in the way the fans want them to be.
i am doing my part through the street team and hope you all do the same!

i agree with whoever said that teeny's watch more MTV than MTV2, cuz most of em are ambercrombie wearing preps, just like all those people with "interesting" names on MTV. i'll stick with my Jim Shearer and Gideon Yago please!!!!! no quddus or that guy that stole damian kulash jr's name for me....
also, i think it's good for any band to be "make it big", i just don't like it when they get all huffy and concieted and don't remember who made them big (ahem, us)...
i know i make no sense, but that's just me. i am sleep deprived cuz i've been reading the harry potter book ALLLLLLL DAY. like 18 hours straight. I finished it though... not that you need ed to know.

Bsnider1989: FUCK THE DAMN SYSTEM! PEANUTS FOR ALL!

Austin Powers: "your getaway car is a mini?"
Nigel Powers: "it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it..."
Both: "AYETHANKYOU!!!"

DEAR GOD. You guys just won't quit! HHH are going MAINSTREAM. OMG. I should like jump off a building and curse MTV because it is truly a spawn of the DEVIL. Find something better to do, really... Find more OBSCURE bands then if this frightens you so.
