okay i know this might be a dum question but i was wondering who aveda was?? i know its an old song n crap but i still like it n the question jus popped into my head!!

I have a hunch it was someone one of the band members used to know. Someone, either on this here board or somewhere else, said that they requested the song and Steve said they couldn't because the rest of the band really hated it.

This word has a distinct Sanskrit sound to it. My dictionary is not big enough, I only managed to find A = all, so i decided to Google Aveda + sanskrit. It means "all-knoweledge." The same root is present in the name of (possibly) the oldest written texts on our planet today - the Vedas.
