Ridiculous. I think this shows how much HHH have advanced, grown, and learnt. I mean look at Green Day, from day one Billie Joe wrote about teenage life and jokey lyrics, and the release of the more mature 'American Idiot' saw them spiral into a great deal of popularity amongst both people and critics. This is the same for Hot Hot Heat. Elevator is amazing. Both musically and lyric wise, this album is just fab. The songs are still incredibly! catchy. It just shows how talented these guys really are.

Get over it! :P

Jingle Jess,

Thanks for the reply, but I think you are missing my point. My review boils down to this:

*I like the band;
*I like the new album;
*The new songs are (just as) catchy. I didn't say they weren't.
*I liked the last album;
*The new album is a much more mature release;
*There is a lot of (inferior) competition out there receiving more publicity and hence winning more sales. This is a shame.

Your point about Green Day is slightly out of context, given that they have been in the game for getting on for 20 years - in contrast to HHH who have been around a little over 5. Furthermore, I wouldn't say that Green Day have spiralled into popularity. They have been a major point of media and public interest since 'Dookie' launched them into the big leagues 11 years ago.

I'm struggling to see exactly which part of the review you find 'ridiculous'. Maybe it was the Chad Kroeger bit. I'm hoping not! Either way, I think this band is great.

I looked at the review again and I feel absolutely terrible. I totally did not get the point. I thought it was by some critic saying HHH were nothing in comparison to the new UK acts. I now realise its by a genuine HHH fan and you are just comparing them to the other UK acts if you get what I mean, which is a totally different story! Wow. I really feel so horrid. Why are you being so nice? Be harable to me! Goodness. I feel terrible. So so so so so so so sorry-I read it in the wrong context.

Be horrible? I couldn't...it's not in my nature...as punishment though, you have to keep visiting www.thisisnottv.co.uk - it may not be glamourous, it may not be full of visual delights, but it helps pass the day...
