I left weenie roast early so i could make it to Bang where Carlos D was going to DJ and the rest of the band would be hanging out and oh god damn it was it fucken great. Not only was my favorite band there but so was hot hot heat. I talked to everyone except dante, who didnt go i guess. Steve is the fucken man. He is just a genuinely nice person and is buddies with Carlos. Ah it was good times. If my pictures come out good, i'll post them here. Cheers! Jennie
Jennie always scores the good pics. Can't wait to see these ones. I bring my camera out iwth me but for some reason never remember to take any. Just get caught up in the moment and all. Sounds like you guys had a blast in LA!

i know carlos a little and he told me that they played some shitty festivals with HHH and did have a great time together. its really cool considering i like both bands a lot... and please post your pix here!!!!!
AHHHH, guess what? I'll be seing Interpol on the 1st of July. I just made up my mind today. It's gonna be GRAND! Unfortunately it's in Malmö, Sweden which means 8-9 hours train ride, but it will definitely be worth it. AND I will be able to buy 2 tickets for the price of one! That's £15 for INTERPOL (most important of all), The Kills, The Thrills, Kings Of Leon, Christian Kjellvander, Mogwai and I've forgotten the rest of the lineup (A lot of Scottish and US bands). And hurry with the pictures Cute When Frustrated, dear!
oh i envy you!!! i was thinking about going to that fest. my mum is in malmo right now so i could visit her and...go to see some bands live... but ive got some shitty exams... at least ill try to go to koeln, germany to see interpol...fingers crossed
ps. ive heard malmo is a beautifull city... cant wait to go there..
Luckily all my exams ended today If I get tickets and everything works out fine with the transport and my wildcard (so I can travel by train for half the normal price), I will take pictures (or force my loyal concert mate/twinsister to take some) and tell you how it was if you're interested. And I will notice if Malmö is beautiful (I'm sure it is, many parts of Sweden are) but I will only be on the train station and in "Folkets Park". But have fun in Köln when/if you're going. I'm sure you will.

hehe, who doesnt know carlos these days eh? ahh, i love the man, he's been totally awesome to me on more than one occasion. yeah, i can attest to the shitty festivals they've had to play so thats cool that they get to play them together. have you talked to carlos recently?

I don't know if I can get more tickets, the ticket I might have left over is because one of my friends don't know if he can get of work early, he'll know with in an hour or so! I've told my friends I'm looking for more tickets. They gave out 800 for free so there is a pretty big chance someone might have a couple they don't need!
Aw, that's too bad. Save the money then and catch the next great concert you can go to And guess what? Betina (my sister) will probably buy a digital camera today/tomorrow so we can take really good pictures and put them up on our site as soon as we get home. No developing time and horrible scans this time - and I have a 128 mb memory stick for my mp3 player = A LOT OF PICTURES! And my dad has 2 x 64 mb = EVEN MORE PICTURES! There's bound to be some good shots inbetween.
and its not about money... its about finding some free time to watch a band you love... i hope they gonna play in england cuz im going to brighton for the summer...anyways...i might catch them at reading fest...like all the other bands...
