I haven't been keeping up to date with the articles lately(which is sad because I know the amazing Shiloh posts them all the time), but ive been too busy with stuff. But anyway, I was just wondering of all the dates how come they chose to release the album on 9.11. Why not 9.10 or 9.12. I mean, this cd doesnt have anything to do with that day anyway...or does it? ps not that im complaining...I've been waiting on this cd forever, but I find it random and see that no one has really talked about this yet.

I don't really know why the 11th of September was chosen but I do know that it has nothing to do with the significance of that date and that no disrespect is intended. Record companies know that there are certain times in the year when it is better to release a CD and September is one of those times but I'm not sure why they chose that date.
I know that and good point. Its just funny to me because im from Atlanta so thats why im very shocked that the release date is 9.11. But I guess sometimes it just works out that way.

I heard they're not the only ones who are releasing a CD on that date. I can't remember who though. I see nothing wrong with bringing a little cheer to that date.

Yes, this has been discussed before. If you scroll down the topics, you'll find it. I agree, it's not meant to disrespect that day. Kanye West & 50 Cent are also releasing albums on 9/11. Regardless if the day is Christmas or Pearl Harbor Day, I've never heard of a moratorium on an album not being released because of a holiday. The day all the 9/11 things went down was on a Tuesday and records were still released that day.

Cool Cool, yeah thanks nobody cares...I read through the other bulletin discussion yall had on it. and im glad that they're not the only ones releasing an album on the day too. I just found it a bit ironic. But like Shiloh said, obviously it wasn't their decision to make it that date...so its not that big of a deal esp since the album isn't about it.

They're not even from the US, either (not like that matters, but still; the signifigance is probably some degree less in countries outside the States). CD's are typically released on Tuesdays, though it's also not uncommon for them to come out on Thursdays (similarly, how most movies come out on Fridays, but a lot come out on Wednesdays).
Dustin told me he thinks it's hilarious since their Canadian. Well I just think that September 11th will no longer be a day of sadness in this country. At least not for me.
reach beside me for my cell, it's not ringing can't you tell?
