I dont have a whole lot of friends, and the few I have listen to horrible music (think like "JLo" ::shudders:: ), its hard to find people to go to concerts and stuff w/me. I'm trying to get my sis to listen to them, I'm pretty sure she'd like them a lot.

I voted "I'm the only one", which is sort of true - my sister Betina knows them as well, but EVERYBODY else, and I mean EVERYBODY have no clue about which music I like and they have sort of given up remembering all the band names and stuff. And I remember every friggin' hand ball player / foot ball player / main stream artist they are on about. It's a quite sad place I live actually...

A lot of people around here have heard 'Bandages' whether they know it's HHH or not. An awesome radio station here (WBER) played that a lot when they were coming to town a while ago. Though I haven't heard them played again in a while. I should call Joey and tell him to put another song into rotation...

I have two best friends who know of them (one who is as equally enamoured as me). My other mate was like "ummm... what do they do?" and when I said Bandages she was like "of course! Yeah, I love them!"

My mission is to spread the love. Every time I sell a copy of Make Up I feel I'm doing the world a little good turn Smile

I also voted that I am the only one that has heard of them. A station here (ktbz) was first playing them late at night as "new music." But I heard them twice now during the day, so maybe that means that they are becoming more popular? I hope so cuz no one I know has heard of them. But I will "spread the love" and get my friends to listen to them!

kimberly: i agree somewhat with what you're saying, but on the other hand, if no one else knows them, you can't share your love of (insert band name here) with anyone else! and that's not always fun...although, neither is having EVERYONE know...
...did that make sense at all?!

i voted only a few...few is right: 2 ppl i know to be exact.
it's strange, these two ppl both have nearly the exact same tastes in music as i do...so we all share the common sense that we like "good" music and everyone else is blind and deaf

eh, I dont really like that phrase "real fan", I think that if you like a band then you are a real fan, no matter how you found out about them; the only way someone could be a "fake fan" is if they pretended to like something just to be cool or whatever...
I think that sometimes when people like a band that isnt well known it makes them feel all cool and exclusive and so if the band starts to get more fame it kind of upsets them.
I love finding people who like the same music as me, its like you have this immediate connection with them. I miss having friends to talk about music with (wont get into what happened with my old friends), which is why I come to message baords now, ha ha...

yea yea.. I wouldnt want the whole world to find out about HHH. I mean, I know that lots of ppl do, but then they would just become a mainstream household name. If you feel like not a lot of ppl know of them, dont you kinda like having them just as your very own?

I guess not very many people in Finland know about them. All my classmates do, because I did a CD-ROM about HHH as a school project. And one guy downloaded some of their songs, and was really keen on them. But most of my friends just think I'm ready for the loonie bin.

I have few friends who are more addictive to music than my schoolbuddies, and I think they might have heard of them, 'cos they "love rock n' roll!" Wink Anyways they're more into small bands, underground stuff, etc..although HHH is not very underground, but you know what I mean...

I think some trendy kids listen to HHH, but MUTBD was released here very late, just at the beginning of summer, I had to buy it from a little record shop that sells imported stuff.

I wish there was a record shop like that where I live. I went to "Stereo Studie" today (the biggest record store in the part of Denmark I live in). I was searching for "MUTBD" (no, I don't have it yet!) but they didn't have it. I did however find one copy of the "Knock x 3" EP really cheap, so I bought that instead. And I ordered Interpol's CD (no I don't have that either). It's some kind of special edition with some bonus material on (I wonder what it is). Say YES to new CDs! Enough about my shopping trip.

It's not really important, honestly, but here's an update on my cd shopping. I found a site on the web where I can get TOTBL for a third of the price I have to pay in Stereo Studio. YEAH! So cancel the order and make a new one on CDON! I love CD sales Wink
